Cottage Comfort....

My card today is for the Challenge #15 at The Shabby Tearoom "Cottage Comfort".

I chose the colors from the photo for my take on this challenge.

Here's a close up of the floral embellishment. I gathered a length of lace trim, added a flower and a pearl center. I hand dyed in varigated colors and scrunched the seam binding to get the "look" I wanted, and of course added glitter.

I keep a little terra cotta dish in my front yard for the birds to drink and bathe in and am rewarded with much enjoyment watching the little sweeties go about their day.

Take Care,
Dru

This is beautiful! I really love that vintage calendar image and the seam binding bow, too. Lovely colors and design. Love seeing your birdbath, too. I should really do that as I love to attract birds to my yard. Thanks for playing along with us in the Tea Room.
