Autumn comes early here and yesterday felt like Autumn - doesn't quite smell like it yet, but it's on it's way. I love fall, it's my most favorite time of the year. My in-laws were visiting last week for Hot August Nights and along with Lake Tahoe Holidays, it all kept me pretty busy so I apologize for not posting more.

My card today was made for the
RubberStampChat Sketch Challenge sponsered this week by Flourishes.
Flourishes stamps and products are among my most favorite and so I decided to play along. RubberStampChat is new to me, but looks like a great place - go by and give it a look. Simple sketch, and I opted to keep it simple using a base of brown CS from The Paper Co., and Tim Coffey's Fall Mat Pad by K & CO., I just got at Michael's - there are some really pretty fall papers in this pad. I edged each brown panel with a metallic gold calligraphy pen by Marvy, stamped the tulip from Flourishes "Thank You" set over the script dp, colored it slightly with Prismacolors and Koh-I-Noor pencils blended with OMS from
Gink K, and accented it with dew drops from
Ellen Hutson, LLC - I like the look - very clean and simple, and could be used for women or men I think. I'd like to get the time to do another card for this challenge and dress it up a bit - but we'll see...
Take care everyone
