Random Pinks for Pink Saturday

Today I am posting random pinks - a card I made maybe 3 years ago for a Crafty Secrets Challenge I believe maybe before I even had a blog.

A boquet of pink baby roses my husband bought for me and I dried so that I can save them and look at them forever.....

Vintage linens I have found at thrift stores, garage sales, and the like. I look at them and think about the person that spent all the time to embroider them and to crochet or tat the edgings, and cannot bear to leave them there with no one to care for them. My mother and a dear older friend taught me how to embroider when I was around 7 years old and I still love it today, along with crochet and a myriad of other hand crafts that I seldom have time for. I hope you enjoy them

Happy Pink Saturday to everyone! Hop on over to Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound to see more "Pinks"

Take care,
Dru

What a beautiful collection! You are so right; when you think of the time that went into making them, it's such a shame to find them unloved. Bless you!

Hi Dru, I love all your old linens with the pretty embroidery on them. I used to embroidery when the boys were little but haven't done it in years. But it has come in handy to mend some of the beautiful old cases I find. HPS

What great vintage linens. Thanks for stopping by ECS Market Monday.
They don't know for sure what's wrong with Dad, he just isn't breathing right. Not his heart....not cancer....may be infection...they have no idea. It's just frustrating.

I love vintage linens, and like to think about the lady that made them, what they were for, who they were for. Maybe to fill a hope chest :) Yours are lovely!
