…to my Mother and Father-in-law. I’m always so late with everyone – it’s shameful, but they love to receive a handmade card from me, so I always seem to redeem myself – lol! While I was working on this for the Paper Cupcakes challenge – I thought it seemed appropriate – Fall anniversary, Fall card. Unfortunately the image seems a little blurred so it’s hard to see the detail and the stickles I used to sparkle up the flowers – just a little.
Carol is challenging us and you this week to use a frame in your card making or project! I made mine from Spellbinder’s Nestabilites to accentuate this sweet little vase of flowers designed by Nina. Come and play along with us this week, there’s always a great prize.
The paper is older I believe and is part of the 29th Street Market line from My Mind’s Eye, pearls are from Ellen Hutson, LLC, the trim I picked up at Michael’s or JoAnn’s sometime back, and the punch is by Martha Stewart from Michael’s – one of my favorites. I then used a Scor-pal to do the scoring at the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by and all the sweet comments you leave – I truly appreciate them.

Just so lovely, Dru. Love the colors and how you made the little image the start of the card with your design.

Hello Dru - this is very well done - I love how you made the image so small and then have it as the centre of attention on your card - the color combo is fabulous too! Very nice!!!
