Rain, Snow, High Winds...

...that's the weather for today and tomorrow and, I love it all - the rain on the roof at night to go to sleep by, how beautiful the soft new snow looks, and even the wind when it's crazy wild.

My post today is for out SCS Blog Group Challenge. We were challenged to make something to do with reading and books. Of course I kept forgetting about it then started to panic - WHAT am I going to make??? Then, as usual I realized I had already made something. A little mini book comissioned by Lake Tahoe Holidays for a wedding for all the guests to write a little something in and then the Bride and Groom to read together later - very romantic.

Have a wonderful week and thank you for dropping by.

Beautiful days...

all week, even the snowy afternoon and evening on Thursday. I do love all the seasons up here, the changes in the weather keep life interesting. Did I mention my crocus are blooming - they're so sweet I'd like to buy hundreds of them this year and just naturalize them all over my yard for that first glimpse of spring and the little mini hyacinths too!

My card today features one of the Pure Innocence images. Heather creates some of the most adorable - every single one of them - images! If you are unfamiliar go HERE My paper is from K & Co., Brenda Walton's Small Wonder Girl I purchased at Michael's, the ribbon is from Papertrey, and I colored the image with Prismacolors and blended with OMS.

Hope all of you are well. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend. Try to spend at least a little time for yourself creating, it's so good for the soul.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Just a quick note - many things to do today and unfortunately none of them creative *sigh*. Hope all is well with everyone and please, if you are still receiving odd e-mails from me - according to my computer guru - it should stop soon!

Bunny's Easter Basket

Wow - has this been a week! If any of you have received an unusual e-mail from me - sorry - my computer picked up a virus and was sending weird e-mails to those of you who might be in my Contacts list. Just got my computer back and set up again.

Isn't this the sweetest image. It's from Phindy - she is yet another talented artist that puts out beautiful digital images. If you are unfamiliar, pop on over and take a look - I think you'll like them. Really, they are just so sweet!!

Take care everyone.

Savannah and Her Chicks...

This is one of Mo Manning's latest releases and I just had to have it!! She reminds me so much of my daughter Sara. We lived on a farm when Sara was a baby and toddler and mornings were spent outside feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, saying hello to and climbing on the bigget cow I've ever seen, etc. Sara loved to feed the chickens and I have the sweetest photo of her sitting on the ground surrounded by all the chickens and the rooster - this illustration just brought back instant memories *sigh*

The paper is Basic Grey's Lilykate - I'm not sure if it's available any longer as I've had it quite a while. White CS is from Papertrey, Pink and Green CS is by Bazzill from Michael's, pearls are from Ellen Hutson, Decorative punch is MS, ribbon is from Michael's.

Off to work now - thanks for stopping by.

Happy Monday...

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We mainly just hung out, my husband recuperating from some type of stomach disturbance and I was able to get a little organinzing done in my work space, catch up the laundry, do a little reading, and just kind of puttering around - I love puttering at home.

I put together this banner a few weeks ago for Lake Tahoe Holidays and just have not got around to posting it until now. Once she saw it, she asked me to make some more as samples and personalize them with last names for customers to hang over their mirrors - never thought of that one - but what a great idea! I will also be posting these in my Etsy shop if anyone is interested.

Thanks for dropping by.
