Happy Pink Saturday!

A bit of a slow start this morning, but here I am (after how many weeks – I must be the world’s worse blogger) looking upon all the glorious signs of Spring for the posters of Pink Saturday. We’re at 30 degrees with snow coming down! So, I have no pretty spring flowers to show you as ours are just beginning to slightly bud. I do have what I think is a sweet card to share. I started it a couple of weeks ago and could just not decide how to finish it off ~ then yesterday morning (or was it the day before?) I was picking through a box on my work table that I just throw things into as I go – you never know what you’re going to find in there ~ and in just a couple of minutes completed my card. I like how it turned out – it’s like a breath of Spring to me.

Pretty in Pink

That’s the name of the challenge for Week #212 at The Shabby Tea Room with this beautiful inspiration photo. And pink is always the theme for Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound – thank you Beverly

I happened across this challenge this morning and thought the card I was currently working on would fit into the challenge well. The image is taken from a vintage calendar and I love the illustrations, the detailed and gorgeous calligraphy (I think it’s some form of calligraphy???) and the overall softness of these images.
