It’s time for Pink Saturday again

….and we are still snowing – not as much – but snowing and yes I still love it. I have always loved stormy moody days – it means staying inside, putting together a pot of soup and warm bread, and spending more time creating – sometimes by only natural light from the window along with candlelight.

When I was growing up, my Mom always had a candle in a small decorative bowl for just such occasions – and I loved it. I still love candlelight.  Somewhere in time, my mom’s candle was all used up and I believe that beautiful bowl was broken or lost – but I had to recreate it because it meant so much and still does. I found this bowl in  a thrift store or garage sale some time ago and added my own candle. Now it sits on my sideboard waiting for a wonderful excuse to use it.

Hi Dru! Your bowl is so pretty and so is your candle. I cannot believe it is still snowing there. Our temp has already gotten up top 86. I hope it does not stay cause I want spring first....Christine

The candle and bowl are just beautiful. I, too, love those winter days where you have a great excuse to stay inside and craft! We had snow and ice here yesterday - just perfect for doing art! : ) I loved looking at your blog. I'll have to return for a visit when I have more time to browse. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Blessings,
Tricia
