My card for today is for my Secret Sister in our Designing D.I.V.A.S Blog Group on SCS. The challenge was to make a birthday card. My image is one I bought on ebay and it's from Sugarloaf. I gold embossed it and then use watercolors. The DP is from the Sprout pack by Memory Box, the pink CS is from Bazzil, the Vintage Creme is from Paper Trey, and I used my Nesties for the circles. A little sewing finished it off. And, you'll notice I finally got a watermark!!
Have a wonderful day - try to find some quiet time just for yourself. With everything we have to do each and every day - it's so important to take even just a few moments to just "be".

My family gave me a swing for my birthday and I love sitting out there in the morning with my coffee. I am the only morning person in the house, and I love having that time to myself. (In fact, I can be really grouchy if I don't get it.)

Your card is lovely as is everything you make! I appreciate my quiet mornings with my big mug of coffee more in the summer when quiet time is less frequent. Then the kids wake up and the excitment begins.
I am not an early morning person, but I share your love of sitting and enjoying a cuppa in the quiet of the outdoors. We were a little cool today, so had to be indoors, but soon, I will be on my backporch taking in the chirps of the birds and the peaceful goings on in the garden!

This is SO beautiful!! I totally agree with you on the "early" mornning peacefulness ... except I do it while still laying in bed. I love the quietness of the early morning with the exception of the birds ... they get very talkative around 5:30 a.m. around here!! LOL!
Last evening Mark & I layed in bed and watched the approaching thunderstorms coming in from the West. It was pretty cool to watch the lightning & hear the thunder as the storm got closer! Until it was actually upon us and I had to close the windows or get wet, LoL!!
The card is so wonderful, love it. I do love and enjoy the stillness of early morning as you do. :-)
