Happy Pink Saturday....

Once again it's Pink Saturday - Pop on over to Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound and look at all the amazing talent and beauty you'll find there. It is time well spent.

The theme this week is showcasing your favorite Christmas decoration. I have many, however most of them are still packed due to the work we are doing in our long neglected living room. We've lived here a few years, but are just now actually turning our living room into a living room (this is all based around a pool table we have been looking for - long story and not very interesting)and once the baseboard is in and the carpet cleaned - then I will be unpacking more of Christmas. However, these little pink trees are definitely among my favorites and newly acquired - they're not vintage but they sure look like it - and I do love them. They make the perfect setting for a New Year's card made for Lake Tahoe Holidays Gift Shop here in town, and is based on a reproduced vintage image from The Graphics Fairy - isn't she sweet!

Have a wonderful holiday season and a very Merry Christmas to all of you.

Take care,

Dru, I loved seeing your pretty pink trees and that adorable little print! And those trees do look vintage. I have workmen right now that have slowed some things down, so I haven't done the first thing towards decorating this year. I hope I do before Christmas because we have company coming! Hope you get yours done, too...

Happy Pink Saturday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

We don't need elaborate decorations or a big tree or numerous gifts under a tree. All any of us needs is to carry the spirit of Christmas in our hearts and to share it all year long with everyone we meet.

Thank you so much for sharing your blog with me today. Yes, I'm crazy about ♥PINK♥ but I'm also devoted to visiting some of the nicest blogs in cyberspace.

Hoping your weekend is filled with peace.

Hi Dru,
This is gorgeous!!! What a fabulous job you did with this card! It looks just darling with those pink trees too! Thanks so much for playing along today for "Brag Monday"! You did everything just right. I did have my post up this morning at 7:00 AM Eastern time, you might just need to hit your refresh button next time, if you don't see it. I usually pick one or two people to feature each week, and they are shown on the "Brag Monday" for the following week. I hope that makes sense!!! Thanks again for linking up, I know my readers will love seeing your beautiful card!

Hi Dru,
It's me again, the "Dingbat Fairy"! haha I'm sure you are totally confused by my previous comment. I was responding to a comment left by "The Queen of Dreams" and you are of course "Garden of Dreams" which is really very different. Anyway, the part about your card being fabulous and gorgeous was for you, and still stands naturally, the other part about how "Brag Monday" works, you can disregard, as that was for the Queen. So sorry!
